Following the filing of the case and the respondent’s reply, the BICC assigns a first case management conference, where all parties are invited to agree on a timetable for submissions and discuss key procedural matters.
Before the tribunal is constituted, a Deputed Judge is available to handle all interim and emergency requests, ensuring that critical matters are addressed promptly without delay. The Deputed Judge’s jurisdiction concludes once the permanent tribunal is in place. Case management conferences and the exchange of submissions are conducted through the BICC’s user-friendly e-filing portal, with the flexibility of holding virtual meetings to accommodate international parties.
