Dispute Resolution Tribunals

BICC's judicial structure is designed for maximum flexibility. The dispute resolution tribunals are constituted on a case-by-case basis.

The President of the Court will appoint either a single judge or a panel of three judges to adjudicate the proceedings based on the complexity involved. The broad expertise of a diverse roster of judges from a range of civil law and common law countries ensures that BICC tribunals have the necessary knowledge and experience to handle the wide-ranging nature of international commercial cases.

In the event of an appeal, naturally no judge who served at first instance may be appointed to the appellate tribunal.
